Localized Cryotherapy
At Wild Coral Wellness, we use the INSTANTCRYO™ localized cryotherapy system, which delivers a precise stream of extremely cold CO₂ to targeted areas of the body. Unlike whole-body cryotherapy, localized cryotherapy allows us to focus on specific muscles, joints, or areas of discomfort without exposing your entire body to intense cold.
The rapid cooling causes temporary vasoconstriction, followed by increased circulation as the area naturally rewarms. This process may help reduce pain, swelling, muscle tension, and soreness while supporting recovery and mobility.
Cold exposure also affects the autonomic nervous system. Research suggests that the period following cold exposure may increase parasympathetic activity—the body’s “rest and digest” response. Because of this, we may incorporate cryotherapy into nervous system regulation sessions alongside breathwork, movement, red light, and other calming resources.

Cryotherapy is a supportive wellness and recovery tool and is not intended to diagnose, cure, or replace medical treatment for these conditions.
Who Is Not a Good Candidate?
Cryotherapy may not be appropriate for clients with cold allergies or cold urticaria, Raynaud’s disease, severely impaired circulation, active blood clots, active bleeding, open wounds in the treatment area, or significantly reduced sensation.
Certain cardiovascular, vascular, neurological, or blood-clotting conditions may require medical clearance before treatment.
All new clients begin with a 90-minute Intro Session so we can review your goals and health history, assess whether localized cryotherapy is appropriate, and create a personalized care plan.
Medical Clearance
Certain medical conditions may require written clearance from your physician or treating healthcare provider before cryotherapy can be performed. This does not necessarily mean you cannot receive cryotherapy; it simply allows us to confirm that localized cold exposure is appropriate for your individual circumstances.
Please let us know if you have been diagnosed with any cardiovascular, circulatory, neurological, autonomic, bleeding/clotting, respiratory, endocrine, kidney, or other significant medical condition, or if you are pregnant, recovering from surgery, or currently undergoing cancer treatment.
If you have any of the conditions listed above, please download a medical clearance form to take to your physician prior to your first session.
Wild Coral Wellness reserves the right to request medical clearance or decline treatment when there is a potential safety concern. If you have already purchased a session and are unable to obtain medical clearance, or your healthcare provider does not approve cryotherapy for you, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid for your booking.
